Herts Hog Roasts are regarded as the finest hog roast caterers in Hertfordshire, providing spit roast catering in Stevenage and BBQ catering in Bushey. But as well as spit roasting events we are quite at home providing catering menus from a la carte weddings in Berkhamsted to corporate buffet menus in London and also for team building events and board room meetings around Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
This weekend, we were asked to go a little further afield and provide our unique country buffet for Leanna, who was organising a staff casino party for 220 staff members from Edwards in Clevedon, Somerset. Edwards specialise in Vacuum pumps and abatement equipment manufacture. Their products are found in a variety of industrie’s from micro chips in cars and smart phones to LED displays and aircraft turbine blades.
Buffet menus have changed a lot from the seventies and eighties and the curled up sandwiches and cheese and pineapple cocktails are a thing of the past. A little thought and imagination and a desire to create exciting and mouth watering nibbles for corporate catering is what is needed these days and Herts Hog Roasts have the flair to tempt the taste buds of many local businesses around Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas.
Today we were providing our country buffet…. A rustic selection of great big whole cold pies with a selection of meat fillings from turkey and ham topped with cranberries or our ploughmans lunch pie…. A huge 1.3 kilo short crust pastry pork pie with a layer of pickle, cheese and spring onion and topped with ripe cherry tomatoes.
